Japanese Blue and White Dish with Raised Flower

Over all, the style seems Japanese.  The blue is grayish and either it or the paste contains iron impurities that have turned the blue to green or brown in some areas.  The paste is extremely dense and smooth on the exposed foot (See close up).  The glaze has a green tint to it, especially where it has pooled.

Description

The central flower (Japanese Mon?) is raised, so I suspect this is a molded piece, it lacks the sharpness of hand carving.  Over all, the style seems Japanese to me.  The blue is grayish and either it or the paste contains iron impurities that have turned the blue to green or brown in some areas.  The paste is extremely dense and smooth on the exposed foot (See close up).  The glaze has a green tint to it, especially where it has pooled.  The raised petals of the central flower show a bit of natural wear.  The blue rim is also interesting.
