Safety of Vinatge and Antique Ceramics
When buying vintage and antique products, there is always a chance the item you are buying contains harmful materials. Early ceramic glazes often contain lead and other metals as colorants and fluxes (used to lower the melting point/temperature). In addition, other dangerous materials might be present.
Do not use products bought here as eating and/or drinking vessels. Do not store food or drink in any vintage or antique vessels bought here or anywhere else.
We are a pet free, smoke free seller. However, we are not the first owner of any of these products and previous owners may have been pet owners or smokers.
All of our items are carefully cleaned prior to shipping with mild soap and warm water. If you would prefer we don’t clean the item(s), let us know when purchasing.
