Chinese Footed Dish Shendetang Zhi Mark

A beautifully painted Chinese footed dish. Glaze color and shape is Daoguang period (1821-1850) but stylistically, the painting is republic. Decorated with prunus and bamboo. Exceptionally well painted for a piece of this form and from this period. Reverse and foot are adorned with prunus sprigs.

A beautifully painted Chinese footed dish. Possibly Daoguang period (1821-1850). Decorated with prunus and bamboo. Exceptionally well painted for a piece of this form and from this period. Reverse and foot are adorned with prunus sprigs. Some minor lose of gold to the rim, otherwise, very, very good condition.  Base is marked, according to our references,  “Made for the hall for the cultivation of virtue”.
