Description
Two (not a pair) Chinese batavia tea cups, export ware. Hand painted blue and white koi motif on the inside. Unknown Chinese characters in the base. Each cup has some small chips to the rim but are not cracked. Some glaze flaws. These cups are generally considered to be from the mid to late 18th century (1730-1780.
