This is such an unusual piece!
I believe that it is a Haeger piece, however, there is no label. I think its supposed to be an ashtray but its so unique and pretty, I would definitely use it as a candy or nut bowl or even a candle holder! If I were to guess at the shape, I would say that it is "tire-shaped".
The bowl is a mauve-ish coral colour and measures 8 1/2" in diameter and 2" deep. I'm guessing that the piece dates from the late 1970s or early 1980s. It is in excellent condition but does have one tiny (1/4") chip on the outside.
