These are a pretty neat pair of redware candleholders hand-thrown at the Jamestown Pottery in Virginia.
They are brown glazed over red clay and each is slightly different from the other.
The candleholders measure about 4" in diameter and about 1 3/8" tall.
Both pieces are in excellent condition but because they are hand-thrown, there are slight "manufacturer's defects". One of the pair has a tiny chip just above the glaze line on the side.
