***Can anyone give me a clue?***
These are very precious - they're ivory salt and pepper shakers with sweet pink flowers (with yellow and green centers) with green leaves. The tops are flowers themselves. They're just very darling.
They have no backstamps but I feel that they're probably the work of one of the American Potteries because of the weight and the look and the feel but, alas, I cannot prove it!
The shakers measure 4" tall and about 2" at their widest diameter.
They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing HOWEVER, the salt shaker has a couple of tiny flea bites around the base and a rough spot on the top; the pepper also has a few flea bites on the base.
