This gorgeous pitcher was created by Lapid Pottery in Israel and hand-painted and signed by "Ester".
The pitcher - or you could use it as a vase - is a
sandstone colour and the base is trimmed in a dark turquoise and medium rust colour, all with tiny brown specks. The top 2 1/2" is embossed rings.
This is a very large object - 12" tall, about 5" in diameter at the base, 3 1/2" at the mouth and the handle is about 2" at its widest.
There are no condition issues -no cracking, crazing, chips, stains or manufacturing defects - I'm guessing this sat in someone's curio for the past fifty years!
