This is an awesome bowl! Made by T G Green in England in the 1930's, this yellow-ware bowl is large and hard to come by.
It is a spicy mustard colour on the outside and has a cream-coloured on this inside. The outside has a sculptured design of diamonds in ovals and the bottom has a flat side so you can tip the bowl whilst stirring or whisking.
The bowl measures 10.75" from the ends of the lug handles, about 10" in diameter and about 4.5" deep.
It is marked:
"GripStand"
T.G. Green Ltd.
Church Gresley
Made In England
This bowl is in very good condition considering its age. There are no cracks, chips or staining BUT it does have uniform crazing over the entire piece. I think it just adds to the charm of this bowl.
