This is a really big jardiniere. 12 inches across and 10.5 inches tall. Big enough for a small tree. It probably dates from the 20's and has some honest indication of that age. The bottom has been burnished from years of sitting on a wood floor or table. 4 panals of flowers as shown. My first guess is Weller pottery. Some stains on the inside rim as seen, otherwise pretty clean. It is not glazed on the inside. Impressed 12" in the bottom and marked in ink as shown. I would estimate its weight at 15 lbs. or more. No chips or cracks. This piece of stoneware rings like a big church bell.
